Some of you may be wondering what to pack for a wedding that also happens to be a weekend in the woods. Please reference the packing list below.
Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, hair products, hair dryer/straightener/curler, makeup wipes, sunscreen, etc.
Casual & Warm clothes
- At least one pair of long pants
- Anything you would want to wear on a hike
- Running shoes
- Optional (hiking boots)
- At least one warm sweater
- Long sleeve t-shirt and any other shirts
Friday's dinner can be as casual or dressy as you would like. There is no need for "formal-wear" as indicated by the examples in the photos. Keep in mind that you will have time to change between checking in to your room and dinner, as well as before heading to the campfire.
The dress code for the Saturday wedding festivities is Formal. Please see the photos below for examples of what to wear. August in Washington is warm, but it can get a bit chilly under the shade of the trees so plan to bring a light sweater or scarf.
Plan on wearing comfy shoes that you can walk on grass in, as the ceremony will be outdoors in a meadow.
What Not to Wear: No shorts, jeans, short sleeve shirts, casual dresses
