Olivia has been one of Chey's best friends since the beginning of their freshman year of college. Olivia and Chey now live in California nearby one another, and have many fun (and sometimes crazy) girls weekends together. Olivia's favorite memory with Chey: "I can’t come up with my favorite memory because there are so many that it would be approaching the length of a novel and no one wants to read that. So instead I’ll tell you my first memory. I found out who my freshman roommate was and immediately did some Facebook stalking. What I uncovered was that she was a Christian camp-goer with a strong passion for Grey’s Anatomy and One Direction, and certainly the scariest person I would ever meet. While I was right about a couple of these things, what I didn’t know was starting with that first awkward hug on move-in day (thanks Debbie) I had found my best friend. Roommate or not that has never changed, and I feel so lucky for all the memories those freshman girls made and will continue to make for so many years to come. "

Keenan and Nick (colloquially known as "Mike" and "Mike," respectively), have been best friends since freshman year of college. When together, the two of them can be found annoying their partners and saying things so quickly that only they understand. Keenan's favorite memory: "My favorite memory of Nick is when he stayed with me during a spring break in college. We went on a trip up to the North Shore of Lake Superior, hiked around the state parks, and ate some great food. It doesn't matter what we are doing, it is always a blast and he makes me laugh harder than anyone else!"

Kendyl and Cheyenne have been best friends since they were 13! Kendyl's favorite memory with Cheyenne: "One of my favorite memories with you was when you lived in Seattle! I loved getting to come over for dinner multiple times a week and hang out whenever we wanted, drinking wine and watching reality TV. It was the best! One memory that particularly stands out was a week or so before we both were about to start our post-college jobs and I just remember talking about how nervous and excited we were to start! I remember saying that in a few years we’ll look back on that moment and reflect on how much our lives have changed since then. And it’s so true! Here we are a few years later, and you’re marrying Nick and studying to be a lawyer!"

Jeff is Kendyl's fiancé and became great friends with Nick when they both moved to Seattle. They immediately bonded over the fact that they were born on the same day (few hours apart) and often use the phrase "it's a July 30 thing" to excuse their rowdy behavior. Jeff's favorite memories of Nick: "I have a couple of favorite memories with Nick! The first would probably be the morning that I was proposing to my fiancé, Nick (and Chey) were there to help me set up. After completing the setup, to ease my nerves, Nick helped me by taking the place of my fiancé so I could go down on one knee and practice proposing with him. Will always cherish having him there with me that day! Another great memory would be when we hung out for Halloween and filmed our first (and only) TikTok dance."

Clara has been one of Chey's best friends since freshman year of college. They studied abroad in Amsterdam together during fall term of their junior year of college, where they had many adventures, and many more bike rides. Corbin became one of Nick's best friends after being Chey's best friend since they were 13. When Corbin met Nick for the first time, it was bromance at first sight. Corbin can often be found either telling Nick to stop babysitting his drinks or trying to convince him to grow a beard. Corb's favorite memory of Nick: "I have several amazing memories with Nick but if I had to choose one, I think I would choose a camping trip I went on with him, Chey, and several other lovely people in Sun Lakes, WA. Spending several days together where we drank too much, made stupid jokes, and bugged everyone else as a duo is something I will always appreciate. Love you, Nick!"

Nat and Chey have been best friends since they were 11 years old. Nat's favorite memory with Chey is: "My favorite memory of you is when we were about 15 and spent Canada day in white rock with your parents. We had fish and chips and people-watched while we walked around. I remember feeling like adults then, laughing and being independent while your parents were at some restaurant. Now I look back and think about how little we were 😂" (P.S., Nat left out that the two of them attempted to write a book that day, which may or may not be saved somewhere)

Andy and Nick were roommates for their first year at Carleton and quickly became friends through a shared interest in the outdoors and racket sports. Andy's favorite memory of Nick: "My favorite memory of Nick comes from our sophomore year at Carleton, when he and I were stuck in the same freshman dorm for the second year in a row. (Nick was one of the RAs, but thankfully he went easy on me.) Our preferred method of procrastinating was to occupy the dorm’s lounge with epic ping pong matches that often stretched into the wee hours of the morning. These could get quite intense and, and on a few occasions, we scared off the freshman who were socializing or trying to relax. Looking back, our ping ping sessions may have interfered with the completion of a few assignments. But if I had to do it again, I wouldn’t skip a single one."

McKayla has been one of Chey's best friends since early high school. McKayla is an honorary member of the Joshua family--often over for dinner and has even joined the family for Boxing Day dinner at Chey's grandpa's house. McKayla's favorite memory with Chey: "my memory of you isn’t just one specific instance but it’s all the times that I would come over to your house and do homework on your bed. We would always make Alex make us coffee, which has always been in constant supply at your house. And it might sound kind of cheesy but it just felt like we would be able to figure out most of our problems - math, books we had to read, or whatever life threw at us. And if we couldn’t figure it out at least we were clueless together."

Alex is Cheyenne's youngest brother and has inevitably become a good friend of Nick. They share a passion for annoying Cheyenne and talking about cars. Alex's favorite memory of Nick: "One of my favorite (and earliest) memories with Nick was going to view a potential wedding venue. It was a bit early to be viewing a venue, given that he and Chey had been dating for not even a year at that point, but Mom insisted. This is one of my favorite memories with him because it was the first time I truly pictured Nick and Chey spending a long life together, and now here we are."

Ann is Nick's twin sister, who has now become like Cheyenne's sister. Ann's favorite memory with Cheyenne: "Was my birthday trip in 2021 at your parents' house. I loved learning more about you and your family on that trip. I really enjoyed the day we went on a hike and got to know more about each other. I feel like our bond grew even more after that."
