The first time we met was during a genetics lecture our sophomore year of undergrad at KU. We had to form a small group for the day and our mutual friends who knew each other pulled us all together. One day we had visited a Dairy Queen after class and my best friend, Corey, had remarked that she could easily see us being together long term. Little did she know we had already, independently, professed our interest in each other!
