A 4x4 shuttle service will be provided to and from the venue on the day of the wedding.

The pick-up / drop-off location will be the Twiddy & Co. parking lot located at: 1140 Ocean Trail, Corolla, NC 27927.

Please see the "Shuttle Schedule" page for your assigned shuttle ride.

Guests who wish to visit the venue any other day should organize 4x4 transport (see "Travel & Accommodations" page for details).

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR A HINDU FUSION WEDDING?

Ceremony: Indian attire encouraged, shoes optional

Reception: Cocktail attire required, black tie attire encouraged

The couple will be wearing cultural attire for the Hindu ceremony and we welcome our guests to join if they please! If you don't have your own, we have linked websites below which provide rental/purchase options for sarees and kurtas.

Things to Know:

Out of respect for the bride, please do not wear the color red.

Female guests typically wear sarees (not lehengas) and male guests typically wear kurtas.

There are many other options available for purchasing Indian attire online or in-person in the greater NYC area.

Can I change my clothes between the ceremony and the reception?

Yes! The couple will be changing into black tie attire for the cocktail hour and reception, so feel free to do the same.

Outfit Change Logistics:

1) Before your 4x4 shuttle leaves from the Twiddy parking lot to the venue, you will receive a tag to label your change of clothes

2) The driver will drop you off at the ceremony location and transport your clothes to be placed on a rack inside the venue

3) You will have the opportunity to find and change your outfit during the cocktail hour

DO WE HAVE TO STAY THE WHOLE WEEK?

While you do not have to stay the whole week to attend the wedding, we planned this week-long celebration with our guests in mind. Our top priority is using this week to spend time with our closest family and friends before we begin our married life.

We picked a beautiful location with family-friendly activities and work-from-home accessibility, which allows you to double-purpose this week as your spring break! We were intentional in scheduling ceremonial events in the evenings and filling some of the days with optional activities.

We understand the efforts you will endure to attend our wedding, so we hope to reward you with an incredible vacation (and a fun party) in return!

IF I HAVE TO WORK REMOTELY, IS IT WORTH COMING FOR THE WEEK?

Yes, it is DEFINITELY still worth it!

We have organized the week’s schedule so that ceremonial events take place in the evenings after the workday is complete.

For guests staying at The Chesapeake, the house is equipped with 1 Gig wifi and plenty of available workspace.

All other suggested accommodations have reliable wifi and the Hampton Inn has business centers for those who need them.

IF I DO NOT OWN A 4x4 VEHICLE, IS IT WORTH COMING FOR THE WEEK?

Absolutely!

All activities listed on the “Things to Do” page are located on the paved road and therefore do not require a 4x4 vehicle.

To attend evening ceremonies at The Chesapeake, we have designated some of our family and friends to be available for pick-up and drop-off from the Twiddy parking lot.

*Please indicate your transportation needs on the "RSVP" page*

Where can I do my errands throughout the week?

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN LATE APRIL IN COROLLA?

It is usually sunny, warm, and perfect for beach walks!

But bring a sweater for evening activities and the ocean breeze.
