Christopher and Jena’e were introduced by his sister, Catherine who happened to be Jena’e’s coworker and later, her friend. With a casual suggestion and absolutely no pressure, Catherine planted the idea that the two should exchange information and strike up a conversation. After an impressive two-day period of mutual procrastination, they finally did, and quickly discovered they were quite impossible to separate. Following the celebration of their first anniversary, Christopher decided it was time for the next grand step. On January 3rd, 2025, in Memphis, Tennessee, he asked Jena’e to marry him. She said yes, and the rest is happily in motion.
