This is an amazing national park approximately 3 hours for Napa County. You will need to get a reservation to get into park (usually free, but was implemented during COVID times) and pay a national park fee at the gates. Would not recommend driving on the narrow windy roads at dusk or at night. If you think you might be interested in extending your trip to the area and visiting this park, reach out to the bride or groom for some more tips on what to see and where to stay. For those that are worried about hiking-this national park has beautiful waterfalls right off the road with paved short trails.
This is a National Monument closer to San Francisco (approximately 1.5 hours from Napa). It is a boardwalk trail through giant redwoods with ferns covering the forest floor and the occasional giant slug. You need a reservation to get into the park (again was implemented during covid) and parking is usually $30 dollars. There is no cell service close to the park. The drive is beautiful but also has some windy roads. Further down, there is free beach access.
