Downtown Napa Hotels

Picture of Downtown Napa Hotels

So surprisingly, downtown Napa is not close to tourist attractions in Napa county. It is convenient in the sense that you are at the beginning of the Napa Valley Highway and you have access to Sonoma without having to go up and over the mountains (dangerous windy road otherwise). There is more commercial shopping (ie anthropologie, free people, johnny was) along with other boutique shops, wine tasting lounges (in case you don't want to go all the way to the local vineyards for tastings), and some amazing food/drink options.

· Andaz, Archer (Downtown Napa)

o $$$

o Central in downtown Napa

o Has great rooftop

bar/restaurant and beautiful rooms

The Meritage

Hilton

Embassy Suites

Numerous Bed and Breakfasts

Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa

· The Silverado Resort

o $$-$$$

o a popular resort with

large beautiful white buildings attached to a golf course

o great pool, tennis

courts, etc

o must have rental car because

15 minutes outside of downtown Napa and 20+ minutes to wedding activities

Calistoga Hotel Options

Picture of Calistoga Hotel Options

Calistoga is another beautiful town with shops, restaurants and coffee spots all walkable. This town is famous for its hot springs. It is also where you will find the most bougie and $$$$ hotels. This is one of the brides and grooms favorite places too, but it is just the farthest north town in the Napa county. You would be staying another 15 minutes north of downtown St. Helena. A rental car would be required to get to wedding festivities but you would be closer to state parks, Napa's old faithful geyser, culinary institute, and some of the more famous vineyards like Chateau Montelena and Castello di Amorosa.

American Canyon Hotel Options

Picture of American Canyon Hotel Options

American Canyon is a more budget friendly option for you if do not want to break the bank and are okay with finding your own transportation to and from the wedding events. It is approximately 30-40 minutes to St. Helena. It is located around the Napa valley airport and about 15 minutes south of downtown Napa. It is a safe and clean area that has things like Walmart, Dunkin Donuts, and chain restaurants. If you are wanting to stay in a more suburb location, this is a closer option than Santa Rosa.
