As all of you know travel is a huge part of both of our lives and is our favorite thing to do. Since we are an international couple (Ireland and USA) we figured it would only make sense to pick a third destination for us to celebrate our marriage! Libby has been to Italy three times (twice to mainland Italy and once to Sicily). It was her very first trip to Europe when she was 18! Colin also spent an entire summer working in Sicily when he was 19 and fell in love with the island.

But we mainly chose Sicily because...well Italy is just so dreamy and has the best of all there is to offer in a destination (beaches, mountains, food, wine, nightlife, history, art). Sicily is a bit more of the 'wild west' of Italy - so we feel that this wedding celebration is very "on brand" for us.

It's a small village located on the northern coast of Sicily between the cities of Palermo and Messina. It is a colorful town known for their ceramic production! And it is located only 30km from the town of Cefalu that has great nightlife and stunning beaches.

Located just 10 minutes drive from Santo Stefano Villa Il Vignale is a stunning estate nestled in the rolling hills of the Sicilian countryside. We will have the villa for the entire week and both the ceremony and reception will be held here. There is an infinity pool and gardens with lots of space and all of our guests will be free to come and go as they please and are welcome to enjoy the property with us.
