● Be aware that train and bus times and platforms often change. It can be hard to find English speaking staff to help, you may need to use translation apps and google maps.

● Per our wedding planners: Taxis are quite expensive, especially if taken randomly at the stations.

● Our wedding planners are more than happy to book private transfers for anyone, you can contact them through our wedding email: colinlibby2024@gmail.com

For them to make it as pleasant and cost effective as possible please let them know if you require private transfers in advance.

Flights

There are 2 main airports in Sicily: Palermo and Catania, as well as some smaller local airports around the island.

Santo Stefano di Camastra is a small town located on the northern coast of Sicily and is 1.5 hours east of Palermo.

For our Irish friends and family, there are direct Ryanair flights from Dublin to Palermo, we would recommend this as the easiest and most affordable route to Sicily.

For our family and friends traveling from the USA, we understand that this is quite a big trip for most people and we would recommend you making a full vacation out of it! Whether you want to visit mainland Italy or pick another European country to visit (such as Portugal or Spain) there are cheap flights to Palermo from almost all major cities. The most affordable option would be to decide where else you would like to visit and buy round trip flights from your home city to that destination and then buy separate flights from there to Palermo.
