Although you're welcome to take photos during the reception, we ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony, as we have a photography/videography team. A link will be sent out for guests to upload photos they took during the reception (one can be accessed here: https://in.veri.com/to/colarah2021), and we are happy to offer links to our professionally-edited wedding videos to anyone who is interested!

What is the dress code?

We encourage formal attire. Black tie is optional. We, our parents, and the wedding party are taking this opportunity to be glamorous!

Where should I stay?

We have a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn & Suites, about 20 minutes away from the venue. More information is on the "Travel" page. If you stay there, you will get a discount! Call (518) 479-3217 to reserve and say you are part of the "Evans-Price party."

Is there transportation provided from the preferred wedding hotel?

Yes! There will be a bus boarding at Comfort Inn & Suites at 3:30pm and departing at 3:45pm to get you to the venue by at least 4:15pm. The ceremony is at 4:30pm, and the reception ends at 10:00pm. The bus will come back around 9:15pm as well as 10:15pm to pick guests up and bring them back to the Comfort Inn.

Where can I park?

Free parking is provided at the venue. Guests staying at the preferred wedding hotel and using the shuttle will have free parking at the hotel.

What are the COVID-19 restrictions?

Currently, according to New York State guidelines, masks are optional for vaccinated individuals. Guests who are unvaccinated must wear masks, or have a negative test within 72 hours of November 20th. Thank you for respecting everyone's health and safety by following these guidelines. Washing hands and distancing of three feet are still encouraged.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, there is an open bar starting at the cocktail hour after the ceremony. Please remember to bring your ID. Guests under 21 will not be served alcohol. There are plenty of non-alcoholic options for those who don't drink!

What is there to eat? Do you need to take my food order?

We will have a cocktail hour and a reception dinner. We will not have plated meals. Instead, we have food stations (like a buffet, but more efficient because they are spread throughout the room! You go to the station(s) you are interested in and skip the ones you're not!). We have a variety of stations for a variety of palates.

Can you accommodate for special diets?

We have a delicious vegan hand-passed hors d'oeuvre. At least one of the salads (there are multiple. Sarah really likes salad) is vegan, and one of the pasta dishes can also be vegan, depending on which toppings you choose to put on. There is also at least one vegan dessert. There are many vegetarian options, including two different kinds of pasta dishes, salads, and sides like mashed potatoes. We also have a few kinds of meat dishes, which are naturally gluten free. If you have a dietary concern, please feel free to email Sarah at sarahannetjeevans@gmail.com.

Do I need to stay the entire evening?

We appreciate everyone coming and love seeing our friends and family all in one place, but understand if you need to head home before it gets too late. There is a surprise at the end of the evening (~9:30pm) for those who stick around!
