Located in the VIA|Port Rotterdam Mall, our indoor aquarium celebrates aquatic biodiversity with exhibits, experiences, and public programs designed to connect people of all ages with our planet’s aquatic creatures.

We strongly recommend reserving your tickets online to ensure space will be available for your group.

Daily Hours of Operation:

11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Important: Ticket window will close an hour before closing (5:00 PM). Please arrive before 5:00 PM to be admitted to the aquarium. We close daily from 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM for cleaning and sanitizing.

Admission to the New York State Museum is free. However, your support plays a vital role in the success of the Museum’s mission. Suggested donation: $5 per individual or $10 per family.
