These are our four favorite suburbs to explore, each with amazing downtown areas with plenty of restaurants and shopping! Here are the main downtown roads for each:
Ambler: Butler Pike
Ardmore: Lancaster Ave
Conshohocken (known locally as "Conshy"): Fayette St
Wayne: N Wayne Ave
Check out one of our favorite breweries in downtown Ambler!
Explore the historic national park which served as a key encampment site during the Revolutionary War.
Enjoy hitting some golf balls in an arcade-y setting at this newly open location in King of Prussia!
Lush arboretum & landscaped garden featuring a large variety of flora plus tours, classes & more!
Karamoor Estate's vineyard is 27 acres of densely planted, immaculately maintained vinifera vines. Grape growing in Pennsylvania is very labor intensive, and everything in their vineyard is done by hand.
There is plenty of great hiking/walking to be had in Wissahickon Park! Located just within the Philly city limits but still very close to the wedding hotel/ceremony/reception locations.
This relatively new museum has some terrific exhibits about the American Revolution. This is also located in Old City which means it's surrounded by many restaurants and bars we love!
You won't find a better collection of food vendors than Reading Terminal Market!
A very fun combo bar/arcade where you can enjoy a beer while playing your favorite arcade game! This is also located in Fishtown which is Philly's trendy neighborhood - there are a lot of other cool things to do nearby.
