Getting Around
SEPTA
You can use SEPTA (Phily's local train system) to get from the airport to Fort Washington as well as from Fort Washington to downtown Philly. Google Maps is very helpful with planning your trip. Here are the relevant stops, trip info, and links:
Fort Washington SEPTA Stop: located walking distance from the hotel - on the Lansdale Doylestown Line.
Ambler SEPTA Stop: also located on the Lansdale Doylestown Line.
Trip from PHL airport to Fort Washington (approx 1hr): hop on an Airport Line train toward Center City. Get off at any of the CC stops (Jefferson/Suburban/Gray 30th St) and transfer to a Lansdale Doylestown Line train toward Lansdale/Doylestown.
Trip from Fort Washington to Center City (approx 30mins): hop on a Lansdale Doylestown Line train toward Center City. Get off at any of the CC stops (Jefferson/Suburban/Gray 30th St).
Lyft and Uber
Both Lyft and Uber cars are widely available in the city and Philly suburbs. It's about a 40min drive from the airport to Fort Washington.
