What's the RSVP deadline?
*July 1st, 2024*. Please RSVP using the link on this site.
What's the dress code?
Formal attire for the wedding day. Western dress, Indian dress and kilts most welcome!
For those rocking heels, we recommend flats, wedge heels or block heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn.
No chappals/champals, please.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately due to space limitations, not all of our lovely guests can bring a guest of their own.
We regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!
What type of food will be served?
A traditional Italian wedding feast! After the ceremony enjoy apertivo hour (an array of hors d'oeuvres, local wines and spritz), followed by a sit down dinner with vegetarian and non-veg options. Save room for millefoglie Italian wedding cake and the gelato bar.
There will be special kids meals for our young guests.
I have a severe allergy or food intolerance.
Please let us know any dietary requirements in the RSVP link, and drop us a note at cynthiaandrackesh@gmail.com so we can pass that information to our caterers.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will be held outdoors on grass and gravel. We'll head inside for the dancefloor.
Can I attend the welcome event?
Yes! Everyone who is invited to the wedding is invited to the welcome event. We'd love to see you there.
What's the weather like?
Verona in September can get very warm (highs of 25°). There will be plenty of refreshments & shade to keep you cool and comfortable. Do bring your sunglasses & SPF!
Should I bring cash for the bar?
It's an open bar.
Is there parking available?
Yes. There is free parking available at Villa Pellegrini and some free parking at Albino Armani.
Do you have a hotel block? Where do you recommend we stay?
We do not have a hotel block but have listed recommended hotels and B&Bs in Grezzana, close to the wedding venue. Check out the "Travel" tab for more info.
Verona and the surrounding areas have lots of wonderful accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets, from palatial hotels to wine retreats, cozy B&B to large villas.
If you want to venture out further, be sure to check out Tripadvisor and Airbnb.
September is technically off-season but accommodation does get booked up, so we recommend booking early!
Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue?
Yes. Once we get final RSVPs and confirmation of where guests are staying, we will provide shuttle information.
The shuttle will pick up and drop off from 1 - 2 nearby hotels in Grezzana, so you can enjoy yourself and get home safely. Logistics info will be provided in due course.
How far is the venue from Verona?
About a 30 minute drive.
Is there Uber in Verona?
Verona doesn't have Uber, but we recommend downloading an app called AppTaxi if you want to get around the city. (https://apptaxi.it/en/verona/)
I need a high chair for my child(ren).
Great, please let us know when you RSVP.
Is there a wedding registry?
We are truly grateful for your presence at our wedding in Italy and consider it the most precious gift. Understanding the effort and expense of your journey, we have not arranged a gift registry. Your presence is all we wish for as we celebrate this special day together.
Can I wear a sari or lehenga?
Absolutely.
Any colours I should avoid wearing?
Feel free to wear any colour you so desire. (Except, you know, white.)
I'm confused. Why are there two Villa Pellegrinis on Google Maps?
There is another venue in the region called "Villa Pellegrini Cipolla". If you've showed up to a big red building, you're at the wrong place.
Please use this address—this is the correct venue: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XWqU61nn3y9B19Re6
How do I contact the bride or groom?
If you have a question that isn't answered here, please email cynthiaandrackesh@gmail.com.
Closer to the date, we'll provide a phone number if you have urgent questions.
