30 minutes away from Verona is the charming town of Sirmione, on Lake Garda. Explore the old town, grab a gelato, hop on a boat tour of the peninsula and stop by the famous cafe covered in purple bougainvillea.
Ride the €3 funicular up to Castel San Pietro for amazing views over Verona. It's especially magical at sunset.
