We met when we were 19 through the climbing team at Colorado State where we both attended college. We quickly became good friends and spent a lot of our time hanging out at the climbing gym, going up skiing, or out hiking. We didn't officially start dating until March of 2019, despite Anthony's efforts throughout the fall and winter after we met. Thankfully he was patient because we've had so much fun since then! We take every chance we get to get outside and enjoy our Colorado mountains, take a trip somewhere new, and go visit our long distance friends and family. We moved in together in March of 2022, a week after our 3 year dating anniversary, and we love the home we've created with our two bunnies, Pickle and Pinecone.

We were sitting at a rooftop bar in Ho Chi Minh City last November when we decided it's time to start looking at engagement rings and getting married. After doing some shopping we decided we wanted to custom make our engagement ring with a local jeweler. The whole process was so fun and special to do together and was well worth taking some of the surprise out of it. Anthony proposed on July 7th while we were in Utah visiting Dana's childhood friend, Michelle, on a hike in Coyote Gulch. The hike was to a beautiful arch and if you stood in the right spot it looked like there was a second arch above you. Dana didn't think he would carry a ring on what we expected to be a 12 mile hike (ended up being 20 after getting a little lost and having to walk back to our campsite), so she was really surprised when she turned around to see Anthony on one knee. The whole day was so fitting for the two of us and it couldn't have been a more perfect proposal!

We both knew we'd get married one day very early on in our relationship and we're so excited to finally be making it happen and sharing our big day with our friends and family! The love, support, and excitement we've received during this whole process has been amazing and we're so lucky to have all of you!
