What does "Colorful Cocktail" mean?
All it means is to wear cocktail attire and make it colorful! We have such a colorful life, so we want to look out on our wedding day and see that color reflected back at us. It'll be summer in Chicago and while the reception is inside, our ceremony is outside so please dress accordingly.
Venue Information
Where is the venue?
Greenhouse Loft is located at 2545 West Diversey Avenue. The venue is inside the Green Exchange building. Please enter through the doors on Diversey, you'll see the planters and signage out front. It is on the second floor, but again you'll see signs for where to go to find the escalator or elevator up.
Where can I park?
The venue does have parking available that we've included a map for below.
- The lot is marked as "1" on the map below.
- The lot can be found at Maplewood & Diversey and is an outdoor lost
- Marked by a large white sign that says “Green Exchange”
- Please do not park in spots marked “Coyote” or “Gym”
- This outdoor lot is accessible to guests as early as noon on Saturday & Sunday
- Overnight parking in the outdoor lot is not allowed
- There is street parking on Diversey, and metered parking on Maplewood across from the lot.
Fun little extras
What Time Should I Arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. Please arrive at 4:30PM to allow time to park, enter the venue, and find a seat. If you arrive late, you'll have to wait until the bride has entered to find your seat.
Are Kids Welcome?
Your children are invited and we'd love to have them there to celebrate! Just know that the reception will have an open bar, explicit music, and lots of people droppin' it low on the dance floor, so if that's not your vibe for your kiddos, then we'd recommend getting a babysitter for the night.
Can I Take Ceremony Pictures?
We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones and cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We've hired an amazing photographer to capture every detail of the wedding!
After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away. We'll even provide disposable cameras at each table!
