Wedding Party

Erin Hathaway - Matron of Honor
Erin is my older sister. Erin is the epitome of an older sister to me and has always been my role model in life. So much so that I copied everything she did such as the clothes she wore, the sports she played, and the college she attended. Erin has always been very gracious with my younger sister behavior, always made sure to include me in her plans, and was never annoyed (or never appeared to be annoyed) when I would tag along with her and her friends. We have always shared a bedroom at home, even when when we returned home from college on breaks (up until Erin went and got married!). I partially credit our shared bedroom for how close we have always been. Although we have not lived in the same city for a long time, she is only a phone call away and I feel so lucky to have her as my sister.
Tyler Manning - Best Man
Tyler is my day one. He grew up next door to me from preschool all the way through high school. Like brothers, we constantly engaged in intense competition such as tag in the Pancake House plaza, hide-and-go-seek at the OBX house, and homerun derbys in the backyard. We shared countless life experiences including the same schools, summer camps, baseball teams, first jobs, etc. Tyler now lives much further away than next door, but remains a best friend.
Bridesmaid - Olivia Brooks
Olivia came into our family around the same time that Dan came into our family when she started dating my brother, Patrick, in the beginning of 2020. She fits in so perfectly with our family, it is weird to think about the "pre-Olivia" days as it seems like she has been part of our family forever. Olivia embodies what I think of as the Midwestern spirit. She is genuine and authentic, she always seems to see the bright side of things, and is always giving people the benefit of the doubt. She is always down to try new things and I admire her adventurous soul. She is the perfect addition to our family and I look forward to many more fun times to come with her!
Ryan Manning - Best Man
Ryan is like a little brother (literally for Tyler and figuratively for me). Despite being a couple years younger, Ryan went toe-to-toe with Tyler and me in pickup basketball in the driveway, tackle football in the front yard, and wiffle ball baseball in the backyard. Ryan even held onto the wiffle ball to secure an out on Tyler when Tyler trucked him into third base (a flower pot) leading to several stitches. Not surprisingly, Ryan ended up being the best ballplayer of the three as is confirmed in the county newspaper from Ryan's senior year at WJ. Outside of the pickup games, Ryan and I always had great times hanging out together around the neighborhood and continue to have good times when able to catch up together in DC.
Anna Falcone - Bridesmaid
Anna and I met on the first day of soccer pre-season at Saint Mary's. From that day forward we have been two peas in a pod (or ying and yang, dumb and dumber, beevus and butthead, etc.). We have lived together in 3 different cities/states, 2 different countries and have set records for the number of apartments/dorms we lived in (8 different places!) and the number of times we have moved. Ask us about the time we shared a one bedroom in our first apartment in Arlington to "save money". Anna is my sister from another mister, it is a guarantee that when we are together we will be laughing until our bellies hurt and will stay up too late because we want to keep talking. We will be the old ladies in the nursing home wreaking havoc on the rest of the community, and no doubt we will be sharing a room in the nursing home too!
Keith Holleran - Groomsman
I am proud to say that I am friends with the fastest man alive, Keith. Keith's speed knows no limits - I have not only seen him run circles around people on various sports fields but I have also seen him finish a 3-hour Antitrust Exam in around 20 minutes. Our friendship has carried over from law school as we continue to bond over golf, the local sports teams, being dog dads, and the most recent tv shows.
Rachel Feeney - Bridesmaid
Rachel is Dan's older sister. Although I am technically older than her, I look up to her in so many ways as she seems to do it all. She is one of the kindest people I know, she is so creative, smart, fun, personable, and the best gift giver! All on top of the fact that she is a super mom to the cutest little girl, Kaitlyn. When I first met her and the rest of the family it was in the summer of 2020 when everyone had to social distance. I remember I was so nervous to meet his family in such a weird, pandemic-ridden atmosphere but she made me feel so welcome and my nerves immediately went away, and ever since then I have enjoyed getting to know her and the rest of his family. I cherish my relationship with my own sister so I feel very fortunate to be gaining another sister!
Matt Kren - Groomsman
Matt's friendship helped me through law school, always ensuring fun times whenever free time arose. Matt and I first socialized at Whitlow's rooftop and gradually became close friends from there. I dominate Matt in many things including fantasy football, Fifa, golf, and cornhole. We have vacationed together at all the top Spring Break destinations from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale to Charleston. When not vacationing, we can often be spotted together around Arlington.
Maddie Meckes - Bridesmaid
Maddie and I played soccer (center midfield) together at Saint Mary's for three years. Once Maddie graduated she moved to DC and I moved to DC two years later after graduate school. Although we were good friends at Saint Mary's and had an unbreakable bond in the midfield (we even have our own handshake!), we grew closer once I moved to DC. We lived together for a couple of years and continue to play soccer in social leagues and also coach a young girl's rec team together. Maddie knows all the best places in DC and Arlington (I swear she has done everything!) and has always made sure to invite me and bring me along to all her social outings around the DMV. This included the time she brought me along to a law school gathering where I met Dan! People sometimes confuse us as sisters or even twins (LOL) with our similar look. We tried to trick Dan into thinking Maddie was me one time and it almost worked! Maddie and I will be friends forever and will likely continue to drink one too many glasses of wine until we are old and wrinkly.
Patrick Valencia - Groomsman
Mollie first introduced me to her brother, Patrick, on Patrick's home turf, the Dubliner. It was the very last night that the bars were open before the COVID shutdown, which actually worked out well for me as my Irish Flu from that night took approximately a year to resolve. Since then, we have bonded over numerous common interests such as college football, golf, and lawyering. We have had good times on family vacations/holidays with much more to come.
