Welcome to our wedding website. We're counting down the days until we say "I do," and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate this special moment with the people we love most. We've created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all the important details with you in the lead up to our wedding. Our Wedding

Once upon a time in the bustling land of first-year university, two neighbours met in a residence hall filled with late-night snacks and more than a few stolen street signs. She noticed the adorable sweater he wore too often, he noticed she was frighteningly good at solving riddles, and fate kept placing them just a few doors apart. Their story wasn’t a whirlwind, but a slow-blooming kind—the kind where friendship becomes love over heart-to-hearts and a shared love for nerdy hobbies. From student apartments to their first shared home with friends, they navigated theses, a pandemic, the beginning of their careers, and the beautiful chaos of growing up together. Now, seven and a half years later, they’re still laughing at their own inside jokes, building a home filled with warmth and welcome, and ready to begin their next adventure—not as neighbours or students, but as husband and wife.

Dani has been blessed with Aidan's friendship (and meddling) since their first year of university. From spontaneous adventures to endless laughter, he makes every moment unforgettable. Expect him to find him on the dance floor, making sure the newlyweds are having the time of their lives!

Maxx and Noah have been best friends since elementary school—though Noah might not have graduated on time without Maxx making sure he actually got to class. From early morning wake-up calls to lifelong support, Maxx has always had Noah’s back. Expect to see him keeping the groom on track (and probably telling a few embarrassing stories) on the big day!

Nate has been Dani’s built-in best friend and biggest supporter since day one. From childhood adventures to always having her back, he’s the definition of a great brother. But let’s be honest, the best thing he’s ever done for her? Giving her the greatest dog nephew, Chewy!

As Noah’s sister, Paige has been filling his life with love, laughter, and just the right amount of sibling sass since day one. She may be small, but she brings big energy and an even bigger heart. Expect to see her celebrating at full volume on the big day!

Andrew and Dani have been friends since their first year of university, bonding over laughter and late-night Civilization marathons. Always a steady support and a source of great advice, Andrew has been there through it all—whether strategizing in-game or in real life. Just don’t challenge him to “one more turn” at the reception!

Stephen lived with Dani and Noah for most of their university years, and while he’s been an amazing friend and housemate, there’s one thing that will forever haunt them: his pizza-eating habits. Yes, he eats it backwards (crust-first, to everyone’s horror), so the couple has officially banned pizza from the reception. Despite this gigantic flaw, they love him anyway!

Bonnie entered Dani and Noah’s lives a couple of years ago, when they found each other through a room-for-rent post on Reddit. Despite being complete strangers, it turned out to be the best housemate decision ever. From late-night chats to her signature Shrocs (yes, Crocs shaped like Shrek), Bonnie quickly became family. She's always ready with a laugh and a good time!

Sherief and Noah have been friends since high school, and together, they've turned their annual camping trips into unforgettable adventures. Always up for fun and laughter, Sherief keeps things exciting, whether it’s around the campfire or just hanging out. Just don’t be surprised if he’s the one telling all the wild stories on the big day!

Eva might be Dani’s stepsister, but she’s the sister Dani never knew she needed—except for when she starts talking in slang that Dani can’t understand half the time. Despite the generational divide (and constant need for translation), Dani’s thrilled to have Eva with her on this special day!

Alex has been a constant source of great conversation and fun late-night chats. Whether it’s deep talks or just cracking jokes, he’s always up for a good time. After an unforgettable trip to Bali, Dani and Noah are beyond excited to have Alex involved in another adventure—this time, their wedding day!

Strathmere has a partnership with a nearby Hampton Inn in South-Western Ottawa, only a 15-minute drive from the venue. We have reserved a room block to offer a discounted price to interested guests and will have a shuttle organized between the wedding venue and the Hampton Inn before the ceremony and at the end of the night. To ensure we have enough space for everyone, you will be asked while RSVPing to indicate whether you intend to use the shuttle service.

Getting Around

For those not planning to rent a car, Ottawa offers plenty of convenient ways to get around the city. The public transit system (OC Transpo) is made up of light rail trains and a network of buses that can take you just about anywhere within the city. Ottawa also has a wide selection of taxis and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft that are readily available. We would like to highlight in advance that the venue is not accessible by public transit. For those staying at Strathmere's partner hotel, Hampton Inn &amp; Suites Ottawa West, a shuttle service will be available to transport guests to and from the hotel for the wedding. Taxi and rideshare services are also an excellent option!

After spending seven and a half years together, we are lucky enough to have many of the things we need! However, for those who have expressed an interest in blessing us with a gift, we have created a registry through Amazon with some items we would love to upgrade around our home and for our hobbies. A card box will also be present during the reception for those wishing to make a contribution to our honeymoon fund.
