Strathmere has a partnership with a nearby Hampton Inn in South-Western Ottawa, only a 15-minute drive from the venue. We have reserved a room block to offer a discounted price to interested guests and will have a shuttle organized between the wedding venue and the Hampton Inn before the ceremony and at the end of the night. To ensure we have enough space for everyone, you will be asked while RSVPing to indicate whether you intend to use the shuttle service.

For those interested in staying closer to downtown Ottawa to explore the city over the weekend, we've provided a list of well-rated hotels below. While guests who are not staying at the Hampton Inn will not be able to use the shuttle service, taxi and rideshare service options are available.

For out-of-town guests hoping to stay closer to the airport, the Fairfield Inn & Suites comes recommended.

For those not planning to rent a car, Ottawa offers plenty of convenient ways to get around the city. The public transit system (OC Transpo) is made up of light rail trains and a network of buses that can take you just about anywhere within the city. Ottawa also has a wide selection of taxis and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft that are readily available.

We would like to highlight in advance that the venue is not accessible by public transit. For those staying at Strathmere's partner hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West, a shuttle service will be available to transport guests to and from the hotel for the wedding. Taxi and rideshare services are also an excellent option!
