From Siena to the Villa

Siena is a relatively small city. The train is situated on the outskirts of the "old town", which is around 20 minute walk from the city centre (Piazza Del Campo).

If you stay within the old town, please note this is a traffic restricted area so you can't always drive, or a get a taxi directly out front.

Driving: there will be onsite parking at the Villa. It's 20 minute drive from Siena centre.

Train: you can take a taxi directly from the station to the villa and its fixed cost of 30 euro, and takes 20 minutes.

If you plan to stay in Siena before the wedding, all hotels in the city are 20 minutes from the villa, and most are walkable from the train station, or a short taxi journey.

Taxi's: they are limited in Siena and do prefer cash, so always check if they accept card before getting in.

Your hotel will be able to assist with taxi bookings through local companies.
