OPTION 1:
1. Fly into Rome (FCO) airport
2. Take a taxi to Roma Termini, the main train station in Rome.
3. Take the train to Siena (These run every 15-30 minutes throughout the day).
4. The train station is centrally located and there are plenty taxis outside who know Villa Catignano well.
OPTION 2:
1. Fly into Florence (FLR) airport.
2. Take a taxi or the tram to Firenze Santa Maria station.
3. Take a direct train to Siena, these run every 15-30 minutes.
4. The train station is centrally located and there are plenty taxis outside who know Villa Catignano well.
OPTION 3:
1. Fly into Pisa (PSA) airport.
2. Take the shuttle to Pisa Central (these run every 5 minutes)
3. Take the train to Siena (there is no direct train option here, you will need to connect however these trains leave every 30 minutes throughout the day).
4. The train station is centrally located and there are plenty taxis outside who know Villa Catignano well.
There is no direct train from Rome to Siena, you can connect via Florence
The quickest and best train to Siena, is via Florence which can be booked 6 months in advance.
