Sam's parents decide to cough up the money to send Sam to Notre Dame

A year later, Delaney's parents ALSO decide to cough up the money so she can go to Notre Dame (thx Konrads & Schroeders)

Sam and Delaney join Chorale, ~the university's premier SATB concert choir - We ran in tangential friend groups, but no sparkle dust just yet!

Our friend groups merged and we were often the only ones that stayed all the way through ND games *cue sparkle dust* (gotta establish the run!)

At the beginning of Delaney's Junior year/Sam's Senior year, we begin hanging out more and more- under the guise of "studying," and this fateful day, Sam asked Delaney on a date (complete with a "no worries if not" at the end of his speech)

Delaney visited Cincinnati for the first time! Fittingly, for the Bengals Super Bowl appearance (ah, what could have been...)

Sam and I have our last concert together for Chorale :')

Sam graduated (cum laude!) from Notre Dame and headed down to Indianapolis for his new job as an Automation Engineer

Sam visits Delaney in Washington for the first time! (And Delaney discovered his fear of heights)

Thus begins the year of mid-distance, not to worry, we found plenty of time to see each other, ND games provided a great backdrop, especially when we absolutely thrashed Clemson and Sam finally got to storm the field!

Delaney graduated from Notre Dame (NOT cum laude, oops)

We head to Spain & Portugal for a little choir tour, where everyone THOUGHT he would propose ;)

Delaney follows Sam down to Indianapolis and begins law school at Indiana University McKinney School of Law

On a walk along the canal Sam popped the question - expertly photographed by Delaney's law school friends (side note- hiding in bushes RIGHT by a children's playground, not a good look)

We enter our engaged/wedding planning life! And get very excited to say "my fiancé" to people - especially at tailgates we are hosting

We get hitched! And we cannot wait to celebrate with you all <3
