Our Story

Let me share the beautiful wedding story of Cherish and Egypt, a couple whose journey is intertwined with the rich threads of their diverse backgrounds Cherish with her Trinidadian roots, and Egypt with her Egyptian heritage. From the very beginning, their differences only highlighted their remarkable similarities, laying the foundation for a friendship that blossomed into something truly extraordinary.

Cherish and Egypt have been friends since they were 12 years old, and even when Cherish moved to another city at the age of 14, the bond between them remained unbreakable. They stayed connected, visiting each other whenever they could. Though their lives took different paths, the connection they shared never wavered.

Cherish eventually became a devoted mother to two wonderful children, Jaylyne and Jacob. From the moment Egypt met them, she knew these children would become an integral part of her life. Having known Jaylyne since she was just three and a half years old, and Jacob from when he was a baby, these children have brought immense joy and purpose into their lives. They are not just Cherish's children, but Egypt's as well—loved and cherished as if they were her own, with a commitment to support and care for them forever.

In 2008, after years of friendship, fate brought Cherish and Egypt back together, and on July 20th of that year, they officially began their relationship. Now, after 16 years of being together, they’ve created countless memories, traveled the world, and built a beautiful life side by side. Many who know them often remark that they are already married in spirit, but they believe that this next step—marriage—will usher in a new chapter filled with deeper commitments, new experiences, and even greater love.

For Cherish and Egypt, marriage is not just a continuation of their journey but a new beginning, one that comes with its promises and standards. They are incredibly grateful to have found each other and are eager to embark on this next phase of their lives with the support of their loved ones.
