Check out the Public Market for some amazing food, unique souvenirs, or great people watching! Elena's favorite stand is the Green Kitchen (incredible wraps and a mindblowing greek salad) and Neil swears by the cheesecake at the C. Adam's Bakery.
If you're attending this wedding, odds are you love basketball or you are greek. Go check out where the Greek Freak got his name at the Fiserv Forum! The Deer District is filled with sports and Milwaukee themed bars and restaurants. Stop by the bar Drink Wisconsinably, right across the stadium, for Wisconsin themed beverages like the Kareem Ab-Mule Jabaar!
Also known as Brew City, Milwaukee has many wonderful breweries to experience. One of the most popular is Lakefront Brewery, which ironically is on the Milwaukee River. Socialize in their large Beer Hall, order the best cheese curds in the city, or sample manyof their tasty beers. You can also sign up for their famous beer tour!
The Pfister Hotel is where MLB players stay while playing the Milwaukee Brewers. Well, the ones who aren't afraid of ghosts... Mr. Pfister, who opened his hotel in 1893, is known to be seen walking around the floors with his dog. But don't worry, he's a nice ghost! The Pfister has a breakfast cafe and bar in the lobby as well as a fancy cocktail lounge on the very top floor. Blu offers incredible views of Milwaukee, live jazz music, and free mixed nuts! For any spirit related questions, please refer to Carol Kamburis.
If you walk east down Wisconsin Avenue, you will run into the Milwaukee Riverwalk, which goes either direction. If you walk to the right, you will eventually see the infamous statue the Bronz Fonz, honoring Fonzie from Happy Days! If you walk to the left, you will be walking next to the restaurants in the Third Ward, and eventually see where the river enters into Lake Michigan. You can't go wrong in either direction!
