What's the dress code?

Formal attire, please. According to the internet this means: a suit and tie; or, a long evening dress, dressy suit, or formal cocktail-length dress. Please note: this is an outdoor wedding and there may be uneven ground.

It's Halloween! Can I wear a costume?

(Ellen here: We request that you wear formal attire and are welcome to incorporate costume elements into this (think more masquerade ball than Comic Con). We ask that you avoid elaborate costumes that would inhibit dancing, silly non-formal costumes, major wardrobe changes, and anything involving pyrotechnics or fantasy-genre weaponry, you absolute weirdos. We will be also be providing some costume elements for the reception if you're having trouble choosing for yourself. If you have questions about all of this, please reach out to us! Are children welcome?

My dog is my child. Can I bring my dog?

Look, Casper isn't coming and neither is your dog, peacock, mini pig, etc. We know it's not an actual emotional support animal, you damn liar.

Can I bring a date?

Space is limited, so please check your invitation. If your invitation is addressed only to you, we ask that you do not bring a date. Thank you for understanding!

What's parking like?

There is lots of parking at the venue. Just please don't drink and drive!

I have dietary restrictions. Will there be food I can eat?

Yes, but please contact us in advance.

What if it rains?

We have a tent on-call and will have lots of alcohol.
