The Seafood Shanty – Driving out to the Cape? Pitstop here for the best, and biggest, lobster roll to set the vibe for the weekend.

PB Boulangerie – Quality croissants (Ellen's favorite), sourdough bread and more. A great stop in South Wellfleet to splurge on some provisions for the weekend.

Moby Dick's – Worth the (short!) wait for their fried fish and shellfish. Family-owned, BYOB (!!), best fried scallops on the Cape. These were Nana's favorite for a reason.

Gelato Joy – Staying in Wellfleet? Stop here for coffee and gelato - or both with an affogato!

Provincetown Portuguese Bakery – Grab a Malassada, Pasteis de Nata, or a Portuguese breakfast sandwich before your Whale Watch or Commercial Street wander.

The Canteen – Our favorite for lunch in Ptown. Order, then find a seat out back overlooking the water. Our go-to order: share a Cod Bahn Mi and a side of brussels.

Lewis Brother's Ice Cream – If you're lucky you'll catch their truck at one of the local beaches, but if not, stop by their scoop shop in the heart of Ptown.

Kohi Coffee – If the line is long, divide + conquer and send someone over to Connie's or the Portuguese Bakery for pastries, or Grab-N-Go Health Bar for smoothies.

Grab-N-Go Health Bar – You didn't think Ellen would leave off at least one green smoothie rec, did you?

Mac's Seafood – Head to Mac's on the Pier or Mac's Shack in Wellfleet, or Mac's Fish House in Provincetown. Their fish markets in both towns are also great if you're planning to cook or grill.

Provincetown Brewing Co. – A newer spot with great local beer. They donate a portion of profits to local causes, including the Center for Coastal Studies!

The National Seashore – The National Seashore Beaches are Coast Guard and Nauset Light in Eastham, Marconi in Wellfleet, Head of the Meadow in Truro, and Race Point and Herring Cove in Provincetown. Entry fees may apply at these, but all beaches on the Cape are beautiful (we're fond of the bay beaches too). As you may have read, the sharks are a real and increasing problem so please be safe!

Guided tours and events via NPS – Check the National Park Service Calendar for free guided walking, canoe and kayak tours and more to learn about Cape Cod.

Lighthouses – Visit Highland Light in Truro or Race Point in Provincetown to see some beautiful history.

Pilgrim Monument – Learn a bit more about Cape Cod's history from this 252-foot granite monument. The grounds have recently been redone and provide stunning views of Ptown.

Hiking Trails – Nauset Marsh and Great Island are favorites in Wellfleet, and the Pamet Area Trails in Truro offer stunning views.

Truro Vineyards & South Hollow Spirits Distillery – Bring snacks and sit at one of their picnic tables while sipping wine or a cocktail with one of their locally-distilled spirits (the Dry Line Gin gets our vote!)

Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre – Enjoy a movie under the stars at this classic drive-in built in 1957. It’s the last of its kind on Cape Cod, and one of about 300 left in the country.

Flora & Fauna – A note from Andre, and in no particular order, look out for: wild blueberries, cranberries, cat tails, seals, sharks (see earlier note), bob-whites, and most importantly...whales!

Sunrise & Sunset – You can see both sunrise and sunset over water on Cape Cod. See sunset at Race Point, and for you early bob-whites 😉 try the Pamet Trails and those around Head of the Meadow beach for sunrise.

Bike Rentals – Check out Provincetown Bike Rentals and The Bike Shack if you're looking to ride around Ptown.

Explore Commercial Street in Provincetown – Filled with everything from gift shops to art galleries, get lost on the main stretch of Ptown.

Explore Wellfleet – Known for its art galleries and oysters, find everything you need for the perfect afternoon in and around Wellfleet. Our top pick for lunch: Mac's on the Pier for a lobster roll!

The Captain's Daughters – A sweet shop in Ptown with a great tea selection and some more contemporary gifts.

Tim-Scapes – Tim started making duct tape art around Ptown and now sells really unique prints of iconic places. We've got Ptown, Portugal, and DC in our home!
