We will be chartering buses to transport guests to and from the venue on wedding day, leaving from the hotel. The buses will leave the hotel parking lot at 3:10pm and will run a few rounds at the end of the night.
Driving
The venue is about 20 minutes from the hotel, and there is ample free parking if you do not wish to ride the bus. Cars cannot be left onsite overnight.
Please follow signs and attendant instructions as we will park closer to the ceremony to start and then move cars 1/3 of a mile to the reception parking area. Both the ceremony and reception site have unpaved road access for anyone needing to be dropped off close to the location.
Uber/Lyft
Uber and Lyft are available to get you to the wedding, however they can be very unreliable for leaving the venue at the end of the night. If you want to use Uber or Lyft, please reserve a driver ahead of time to pick you up by 10pm.
Getting To Charlotte
Charlotte Douglas International Airport

The closest airport is CLT, which is a huge American Airlines hub. It's 25 minutes from Ballantyne and 45 minutes from the wedding venue. Rush hour could add about 30 minutes to that.
Charlotte's train station is just north of the city, with Amtrak service along the east coast from New York, Philly, DC and Richmond. Richmond -> Charlotte is 7.5 hours and $50-150. NYC -> Charlotte is 13.5 hours and $100-200.
There's also service from New Orleans, Birmingham and Atlanta.
Charlotte had two light rail lines, the Blue line and the Gold line.
The Gold line street cars are a great option for exploring the historic West end.
The Blue line has several park-and-ride stations and stops near attractions like the NASCAR hall of fame, the mint museum, the Spectrum center, GW: A goodwill boutique, several theaters and more.
