"I've Met Your Future Wife!"

Before we knew each other existed, the wheels of fate were already in motion. On an evening catching up with old friends, Annie Anthony mentioned to the Pypers, “Luke, I’ve met your future wife!” Luke laughed it off at the time, not realizing how serious she was. Little did we know, that a blind date set up by Annie and Justin Anthony would lead us to the beginning of something truly special.

How It All Began

Our first date was at Hopkins Brewery for a trivia night in the Fall of 2021. Neither of us could claim to be trivia champions that night—our trivia skills were, let’s just say, lackluster. We spent the night getting to know each other, and by the end, we knew there was something special between us.

From That First Date

As we discovered more about each other, it became clear that this wasn’t just any blind date. We discovered a shared love for the outdoors – from skiing through the Wasatch, biking in Marquette, or hiking through the Andes, our connection grew stronger with every adventure.

The Next Chapter

Randi Pyper (Luke's mom) always said - half-jokingly – that she wanted Luke to, “marry a nice Midwest girl”. Being from the Midwest herself, it’s something she’d often bring up with a smile. And now, we’ve come full circle. Not only did the Utah boy meet that Midwest girl, but we get to celebrate in Northern Michigan, an area where both of us spent many of our summers growing up. We’re beyond excited to take this next step in our journey. Thank you for being a part of our story, and we can’t wait to share our big day with you!
