Space on the island is limited and has been reserved for the wedding party and family.

Ireson Island is located on the north channel of Georgian Bay. This means that the island is only accessible by water. Arrival to 98 Bay of Island Rd, Birch Island ON P0P 1A0, Canada will bring you to a parking lot where you may park your vehicle and catch a boat to the island. Please note, the boat is not covered and you will be exposed to the wind and elements for the ride. We will provide rain ponchos and umbrellas should the weather call for rain.

For those who RSVP an info packet will be going out in April. Included will be a link to sign up for boat shuttle time slots to the island. You'll need to plan to arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your shuttle is scheduled to depart.

Cocktail attire is welcome. This is a very rustic venue. We recommend sensible shoes (no stilettos) as the ground on the island is rocky, uneven and if it rains slippery. The ceremony will be outdoors pending the weather with the reception inside the main lodge. When selecting your outfit keep in mind that the boat ride is uncovered and will probably be windy.

Yes, yes there will. This is a rustic venue. There will be a bug spray station should you require some. We still recommend you bring your own if you're picky about your bug spray.
