Heather was the first classmate to greet Emily when she transferred from Koinonia Christian Academy to Conestogo Public School in 2004. Heather has been a great friend and support to Emily since grade three (20 years now!). Many of their fondest memories include yearly trips to Heather's family cottage in Muskoka and Emily's 2022 London visit. Heather currently lives and works in London, UK. Her outgoing and bubbly personality is greatly treasured by Emily.

Naomi is Alexander's most favourite sister, she's currently working on getting her Masters in Plant Protection (specifically Botrytis cinerea and blueberries) at Dalhousie University. Naomi is adventurous, kind and an absolute powerhouse (giving her brothers a run for their money) and Emily is truly honoured to gain her as a sister-in-law.

Stephanie is a commercial real estate powerhouse! She co-lead a women's small group (Propel Women) at Koinonia in 2019 which is where her and Emily's friendship blossomed. She lives in the beautiful town of Fergus and has the sweetest four legged furry friend, Bennett. Stephanie has been a true support and confidant for Emily throughout the years.

Carissa is one of the purest bubbly beacons of light in Emily's life. She's a wonderful friend who loves to laugh and have fun. Carissa has a beautiful voice and is an extreme volunteer, she's a part of the Base Church worship team, K-W Glee and WRW (Waterloo Region Worship). For a gluten free lady, she makes the most phenomenal bread (seriously, ask for the recipe)!

Samantha is the second oldest female cousin on Emily's mom's side and were very close growing up. Sam lives in Woodstock with her boyfriend DJ, on their quaint hobby farm. She grows the most beautiful flowers and largest zucchinis. Sam is a dental hygienist who takes pride in what she does. The cousins spent a lot of time together (Conestoga Bible Camp, sleepovers, family vacations, visiting Nana and cottage trips) and were often confused as sisters due to matching/coordinating outfits.

Kirsten is the 3rd oldest female cousin on Emily's mom's side and were very close growing up. Kirsten lives with her boyfriend Derek in Oakland with their 2 black Sheppard's and 2 cats. Kirsten has a great love for animals and works as a Veterinary Assistant. She's currently studying Environmental Public Health at Conestoga College. Kirsten was also part of the trio matching/coordinating outfit club the cousins had growing up.

Olivia the youngest female cousin on Emily's mom's side. She was often fought over by the three cousins to hold (she was the cutest little girl). Olivia lives in New Dundee and is a licensed gas fitter. She loves country music and road trips. Emily has many fond memories of time they spent growing up together.

Jeff has been Alex's closet friend and confidant for 19 years and counting. Jeff is a very intelligent and detailed orientated person who puts his skills to good use as a civil engineer. Alex and Jeff have shared many adventures together such as travelling through Germany, Italy, Spain and more. When not traveling together Jeff and Alex often can be found either cooking up a new meal together or enjoying a scotch by a fire while trying to solve the worlds problems.

What can be said about Max that hasn't already been said. Max is Alex's closets sibling and they've been partners in crime for 26 years now. Max is quite the talker and is infamously known for being able to make friends anywhere effortlessly. He puts this skill to good use as a phenomenal senior customer success agent. While completely opposite in personality, Alex and Max (usually) get along splendidly. They can often be found working together to conquer new virtual worlds or trying a new scotch together.

Justin is Alex's youngest brother and sibling. He's currently completing his third year of computer science at the University of Guelph. Don't let his nerdy façade deceive you though as he's quite social and his legendarily quick wit has caught more than a few people by surprise. When not tied up with school or hitting the gym he can usually be found video gaming with Alex and the rest of the siblings.

Chris is Emily's brother and has been an incredible support and confident to Emily. Alex first met Chris about three weeks after he started to date Emily. They got right into it talking about Energy and AI while learning about each others lives. They often catch up when Alex and Emily come over to spend time with the kids. Chris is a hard working stone mason and family man who loves to read and study.

Owen and Alex have known each other and been friends since they started carpooling together while attending grade school at Koinonia Christian Fellowship. Owen is a great listener and an excellent communicator, skills he puts to good use as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Sun life. Alex and Owen often spend their time together sharing stories from their latest travels, talking about finances or life in general while trying out a new cocktail or whiskey.

Tony and Alex have known each other a long time thanks to Jeff (Tony's younger brother). Their friendship really didn't take off though until they started to play board and card games together with a mutual friend group in high school. Tony is an incredibly friendly person who loves making new connections and getting to know people. This serves him well in his job as a technical specialist. These days Tony (and his wife Clare) can be found at Alex's wine tastings and they still play the occasional board game together.

Clayton and Alex met and became friends when they started play board games and video games back in high school. Clayton loves taking the time to understand and solving complex problems which is incredibly handy in his job as a software engineer. These days Alex and Clayton usually spend their time together on double dates.
