FAQ

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Yes! We're aiming for Beach Formal - think: long sundresses, jumpsuits, skirts, linen pants, collared shirts. Our ceremony will be on a beach, followed by an indoor/outdoor reception.

Our photographer has suggested that guests avoid bright colours and patterns, as they tend to appear washed out on camera.

Is there a dress code at ECPM?

Yes! While many daytime activities do not require specific dress, all restaurants at the resort have dress requirements. Casual restaurants (like "the Kitchen Table") only require guests to wear shoes and a shirt (i.e., more than just a bathing suit). Many of the a la carte restaurants (i.e., sit-down restaurants) require men to wear long pants, formal shoes, and a collared shirt. Typically, the dress code for women is more lax.

Where can I learn more about ECPM?

What travel documents do I need?

Just your passport! It is recommended that your passport doesn't expire until 6 months following your travel dates.

Is there a registry?

Spending time celebrating with us is a gift in itself! We do not have a registry and are not asking for gifts.

How long should I stay?

While we plan to stay for one week (Wednesday-Wednesday), you are welcome to stay for a shorter (or longer!) time. The minimum time required in order to make use of the promo code is 3 nights.

What should I pack?

For the most part, pack like you are going on any beach vacation; bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts... the list goes on. Please note, however, that toiletries, medications, and sunscreen tend to be sold at inflated prices at all-inclusive resorts; we recommend coming prepared! Also, make sure you bring some 'elevated' summer wear so you meet the dress code at various restaurants.
