How did you land this prestigious role of best man? (Feel free to brag about your amazing qualifications.)

I’d like to think it’s because of our 10 years of friendship through DJing together at uni and bonding over a shared love of music but, I suspect Elliot really is tapping me up for either cheap flights or an upgrade for his honeymoon now that I’m working for an airline.

What is your most fond memory with the groom?

My favourite memory has to be the end of year house party in our second year of uni. We had constructed a mini DJ stage in Elliot’s upstairs living room of his student house. The party was in full swing, the stage and UV artwork looked amazing for a small house party. Then when we went down to the kitchen to get some more drinks, we could see the whole ceiling flexing and it looked like it would fall through at any minute with the number of people all dancing upstairs. We rushed upstairs and Elliot calmly got on the mic, put on his best dad voice and asked everyone to stop jumping to the music. That night stands out amongst so many great memories.

Name a fun fact you know about the groom…

He likes to cook and eat a whole bag of frozen gyoza after a night out.

What is the grooms sexiest feature?

His smile. How can you not love that smile!

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

I’m so excited to see my best mate tie the knot with an incredible woman who has made him happier than I’ve ever seen him.

I’d like to say we’ve been best friends for over 20 years, but we both know that’s not true. We’ve definitely known each other for over 20 years but wasn’t until we got to college that we started to really get on. It’s been 12 years since then, and I’m sure he wouldn’t want anyone else standing up there next to him on his wedding day! (Well apart from this other guy. Whoever he is)

What is your most fond memory with the groom?

We used to open the batting for Mossley cricket club under 11s which was always fun! Even though if one of us got out it was the other person’s fault. But I think buying a 6 pack of shandy’s from Somerfield when we were about 10-12 years old was pretty cool.

Name a fun fact you know about the groom?

It’s always a battle to finish your sentence before he interrupts (I am also guilty of this!)

What is the grooms sexiest feature?

He’s got a great butt.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Having a boogie with my best mate and his beautiful bride. I love you man xxx
