Rachel Dannhausen-Brun - Maid of Honor
Child #3 of 6 and victim of middle child syndrome, Rachel never had it easy growing up the in shadow of her smarter, better looking older sister. She copes by living at home and wearing Emma's clothes. Rachel works as a consultant in Chicago where she spends most of her days napping and playing Kahoot on Zoom with colleagues. Rachel, though still on her parent's phone bill, will move heaven and earth for anyone she loves, even her prettier older sister.
Emily Wasz - Bridesmaid
Charlie's brother and former Team USA Rower, Emily and the bride share an unending passion for putting Charlie back in his place. When she is not making grown business men cry, you may find Emily working from home. I mean the cabana. She works at a pool cabana. It's a real tan she swears. Emily gave the Wasz brothers their feminine side and by that, we mean the side of her hand hitting our faces. A fierce and stunning woman that anybody and everybody would be lucky to look up to.
Molly Blanke - Bridesmaid
Fellow real estate aficionado, world traveler, and Chicago native, Molly was Emma's college roommate in Barcelona. From Milan Fashion Week, to skiing in Andorra, to road tripping the Rhine Valley, they survived this tough year of architecture school with lunch cervezas. Molly has the biggest heart of anyone you will meet. The two are still awaiting their Nobel Peace Prize for the discovery of using Vodka as a baking substitute.
Bella Scateni - Bridesmaid
Bella is a fellow Air Force girlfriend and one of the few that understands the ups and downs of being married to the military. Bella has been there for Emma through stations in Tampa, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and now Charleston! Bella is your one stop shop for all things labor and delivery (babies, not Amazon), but perhaps her most formidable opponent this season is keeping the groomsman functioning throughout the open bar.
Morgan Bixler - Bridesmaid
No stranger to the Air Force world, Morgan is also a former architecture student from the University of Illinois. Almost as impressive as her D1 Gymnastics career is her ability to blow dry paint on plywood for money. While Morgan and Emma have retired from dating civilians, they look forward to a more civilized life in Charleston of being the oldest people at the bar.
Julia Braat - Bridesmaid
Having studied at Harvard, Cambridge, Stony Brook, King’s College, and NYU, Julia’s LinkedIn will tell you she’s overqualified for most jobs. However, in taking a closer look into her NYU educational background, i.e. the bars she’d go to nightly with Emma, you’ll find that she’s a perfect fit for the bridesmaid’s team. That and she raises the average GPA (thanks Emily). Julia is tenacious, has an incredible drive, a kind personality, and the smarts to back it up. Besides having a twin and being into hypnotherapy, Julia is an old soul. Just like a panther, Julia is quick, witty, eats meat, but above all, she is a one of a kind, rare friend.
Laura Hope - Bridesmaid
Fancy a cuppa? ‘Ello guvnah. God save the Queen! An absolute screamer in the top bin, gaffer’s gone mad! Brilliant! Bollocks! Laura is Emma’s British friend from NYU, and she’ll tell you that before any of Charlie’s friends tell you they’re pilots. Quite tidy, bright as a button, and always keeping calm and carrying on, Laura speaks with her chest, lets her thoughts be known, and always sticks by Emma. A top notch gal, an unforgettable accent, and an unstoppable friend.
Greta Dannhausen-Brun - Junior Bridesmaid
#5 of 6 of the D-B's, Greta is the only sister to be blessed with naturally bleach blonde hair. Greta looks up to Emma, but evidently not enough. Instead of playing soccer, Greta opted for Gymnastics, Diving, and any sport that doesn't require pants. Despite nailing the triple-lindy off the high board, Greta fails to make high marks on the DB board. A loving sister with a matching attitude.
Ava Dannhausen-Brun - Junior Bridesmaid
Last but not least of the D-B children yet most unsupervised growing up is the Bride's youngest sister Ava. Ava followed in Emma's footsteps, played competitive soccer, and has already completed multiple triathlons. Many of Emma's friends at the wedding remember the day she was born. In fact, that was the last Emma saw of her before following Charlie across the country, we hope she still comes.
Peter Wasz - Best Man
Brother of Charlie, University of Illinois Alumnus, and Pepsico's newest employee, Peter traded in his hard hat and callouses for corporate benefits and ritzy apartment living. Peter is shorter than Charlie, younger than Charlie, less athletic, but relentless nonetheless. He's a guy's guy, but most importantly, he's Charlie's guy. And Charlie is taller than him.
Michael Wasz - Best Man
Many describe Michael as intelligent, compassionate, creative, and funny, but Charlie will tell you only one thing: he's the oldest brother. He is the role model, the leader, the judge, jury, and executioner of keeping the siblings in line (just ask about our scars). Though of few words, his actions are always louder, and it's those actions we have always looked up to. Michael is also taller than Peter.
Jacob Dannhausen-Brun - Groomsman
Jacob, the identical twin of Emma, is a modern day Dos Equis man. A tech nerd, a fellow Eagle Scout, a traveller, a hiker, a dog owner and lover, and he's even off the parent's phone plan. In his free time, you can find Jacob higher than Emma on his parent's totem pole, coding for Doordash, drinking Charlie's Air Force friend's under the table, and often getting Emma out of trouble.
Aidan Dannhausen-Brun - Groomsman
Younger brother of Emma, college student at Purdue (boo!), and another fellow Eagle Scout, Aidan thrives under the radar. In building the Groomsmen Team, Aidan's impact is similar to that of Jonah Hill's character in the movie, "Moneyball"; a World Series isn't won without facts and data. Tremendous addition to the squad, but will be undergoing rehabilitation in both elbows in having to escort BOTH his younger sister's down the aisle.
Kealan Burke - Groomsman
Former factory worker, soccer player, lifeguard, air quality control officer, Kealan has been at Charlie's side from the beginning. Only man in history to record an assist, goal, yellow card, red card, ejection, and suspension in a single JV soccer game, Kealan has always been a positive influence on Charlie. He supervised him in lifeguarding, helped him hang bumpers on Stan Line at BLD, introduced him to drinking responsibly, and above all, has always had Charlie's back.
Trey Duvall - Groomsman
A fellow graduate of YOUR United States Air Force Academy, another pilot of the world's most premier cargo airlift vessel, the mighty C-17 Globemaster III, Trey has bared witness to the formative years of Charlie's life. He has seen the highs and the lows, he has a curation of sage wisdom, and he has been a friend like no other. Prisonball Duvall knows a thing or two about frisbee and three things about dancing: have a drink in hand, don't stop moving, and find the gaps. Trey is also bald.
Tommy Sanchez - Groomsman/Usher
Tommy is perhaps the coolest member of the bridal party as he flies fighter jets. He learned to fly alongside Charlie, fell in love with Oklahoma with Charlie, and even became Charlie's E-Sports Coach. Tommy's sub 5 mile time, 20 rep bench press, and 30 inch vertical is almost as impressive as his mustache. That, combined with his big heart, passion for weather, and unwavering friendship make Tommy the perfect person to escort you to your seat.
Eric Nunez - Groomsman/Usher
Having been at Charlie's side through three moves, Eric is a gentle spirit, a humble gentleman, an approachable lover, and an incredible friend. A C-17 combat pilot, Eric enjoys high fashion, simple whiskey, and long respectable conversations with Charlie that never end in malice. Sophisticated is a good word to describe Eric, but suave may be better because it is shorter.
