If you're a beach person, February is the off-season in Virginia Beach, so there will be many rentals available for reduced cost and you would only be about 30 mins from the venue.
TIP: We would caution against staying in Portsmouth, which is nearby, but would require paying a toll through the tunnel connecting the cities.
