Jared and Emma met on a blind date! Emma used to work with Whitney Alves at EF Tours where they chuckled their way through bingo and "ideal" moments. Whitney also happens to be the girlfriend of Jerah Smith, one of Jared's best friends since childhood. When the timing was right, she had the brilliant idea of introducing these soon to be lovebirds - and it worked!

Their first date was at Life Alive in Cambridge (Jared's idea, Emma's favorite), where Jared made Emma swoon by greeting her with a pumpkin from his CSA in lieu of flowers. She made him swoon when, instead of using it as a decorative item, she ate it.

The couple has since traveled to Paris and South Africa, bought and moved into a ski condo in Vermont where they live full-time, and adopted the world's best dog - Maggie Mae. They're looking forward to a lifetime of adventure, travel, and mountains.
