Emma and Michael were first introduced by Emma's roommate, Emily, one Sunday morning at Norris Ferry Community Church in Shreveport, LA. A lot of the "talking phase" that followed involved their studying together at the LSUHSC campus, as both were students at the time. One day in December 2022, Michael went to Emma's home and asked her to be his girlfriend. A week after that, their dating journey began.

Over the last two years, the Lord has done so much to grow Emma and Michael's relationship. They have learned how to love each other well through the highs and the lows of life. It's been a busy season, but they've made time for some fun along the way. One of their current favorite pastimes is playing pickle ball together. Emma is a force to be reckoned with, but Michael does his best.

The soon-to-be Lieu couple is so very excited to celebrate with their friends and family as they commit to forever with each other. Their goal is that their wedding and marriage would be a representation of the Gospel, that their love for one other would be a picture of Jesus's beautiful union with His Church.
