In their early days of college, Will and Emma first met through their best friends, under very different circumstances. As many friends do, Will and Liz tried to play matchmaker and set Emma up with his best friend, Gunnar.

Clearly, that didn’t pan out.

Fast-forward three years, and Emma reached out to Will on the advice of her grandmother, and their friendship picked up right where it left off. When they agreed to meet for coffee, neither of them knew that Will would propose to Emma four years later.

Will’s and Emma’s relationship is defined by their support, encouragement, and drive to bring the best out of each other. Whether it’s graduate programs, global pandemics, Will’s job hunting, or catching Emma when she faints, they stand by each other through it all. In quieter moments, the two like to read books, play video games, or explore one of their favorite parks together.
