The Birch Creek Jazz Ambassadors, an elite student jazz combo selected through auditions, serve as community outreach and perform at various Door County venues while gaining experience as traveling musicians.

The Door County Plein Air Festival presented by Peninsula School of Art celebrates the tradition of outdoor painting with some of the finest painters from across the country. 34 artists will put brush to canvas, capturing the summer light over the waters and fields of Door County, Wisconsin. Painting from life and the landscape has long been a Door County tradition, and one that has endured evolving styles. The festival’s painters bring a fresh eye to the changing lights and colors, and a variety of styles that draw from the rich traditions of plein air painting.

Door County's most authentic concert series held in the peninsula's favorite venue. Our concerts are held in a 100-year-old Door County dairy barn, which has been renovated to seat 150 people in our hayloft acoustic area (for live intermission acts), and 300 in our ground-level indoor area and an additional 300 in the outside seating area.

Sunday, July 21st: Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble, 7 p.m. Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble is a world traveling instrumental acoustic jazz group based in Madison, WI. They are primarily influenced by the legendary Roma Gypsy Jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. The ensemble also pulls influences from American jazz, European Folk Music, traditional Latin, Parisian waltz and other vintage Jazz sources. Expect a range of tunes from the “Hot Swing” repertoire, originals, and standards done in uniquely arranged styles and a level of guitar proficiency seldom seen today.
