Wedding Day Questions
What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding on the day of?
There will be a shuttle service to and from the event from the Norwich Inn and the Residence Inn. Please see the shuttle schedule in the "Travel & Accommodation tab" for more details. There is also parking at both the ceremony and reception venues for guests that opt to drive.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code is Winter Cocktail Attire- not as fancy as black tie, fancier than dressy casual. The ceremony and reception are fully indoors but please dress for the February weather with appropriate layers and footwear. Wear a warm coat, especially if you would like to enjoy the outdoor deck with firepits at the Skiway. There will be a coat rack and boot storage area, if you would like to bring shoes to change into.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Yes, children are invited.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 567 Woonasquatucket Ave. North Providence, RI 02911. There will also be a wedding card box at our reception.
Will there be a farewell brunch on Sunday?
Although we are not having a formal farewell brunch, our hotel room blocks offer breakfast (included at the Residence Inn, for a small fee at the Norwich Inn). We will hang out in the lobby/living room of the Norwich Inn on Sunday morning, and invite everyone to stop by and say farewell before hitting the road if you wish. Another great breakfast option nearby is the King Arthur Baking Company Café, in Norwich, VT.

Travel Questions
Can I fly to the wedding? What's the closest airport?
Yes, there are multiple options for flying to this location. The closest airport is Lebanon Airport (LEB) in Lebanon, NH, a 15 minute drive from the Norwich Inn and main town of Hanover. There are daily, direct flights from Westchester County Airport (HPN) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), via Cape Air on small, 10-12 passenger commercial planes. Cape Air also offers complimentary shuttle service between Manhattan and the Westchester Airport. If you are coming from further away and wish to fly into Lebanon Airport, look for flights that connect in Boston.
Alternatively, Boston Logan International Airport is approximately 2.5 hours away with many airline and flight options. There are rental car companies on-site or a coach bus service that goes directly from the airport to Hanover NH (see following FAQ for more coach service information).
There are also two smaller airports in the area, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and Burlington Airport (both are approximately a 1.5 hour drive to Hanover).
Can I take a bus or train to the wedding?
Yes, there is a daily direct coach service (Dartmouth Coach) from both New York and Boston. The NYC route departs from Midtown Manhattan, and the Boston route departs from Logan International Airport with a stop at South Station.
If you would like to take the train, there is a daily Amtrak train called the Vermonter that operates from DC to Vermont. There are many stops along the route, including in New York. The closest station to the wedding is White River Junction, a 10-15 minute drive.
Can I drive to the wedding? What if it snows?
Yes, you can drive to the wedding. The town of Norwich, VT is directly off of I-91. We recommend using major highways and avoiding the backroads, especially if there is inclement weather. If it snows, the roads will be plowed and salted but we still recommend to use caution and take your time, check the weather in advance, and be flexible in your driving plans. There is free on-site parking at all of the accommodation options.
How do I get around once I arrive?
We recommend driving, but if you do not have a car with you there is a limited presence of rideshares (Uber and Lyft) in the area. You can also use a taxi service. There will be multiple shuttles running on the day of the wedding between the hotels, wedding, and afterparty- check back later for the schedule!
Vermont? I thought you said New Hampshire! Where is this wedding?
Both! The wedding ceremony takes place in Norwich, Vermont. Norwich is directly on the border of Vermont and New Hampshire, right next to the main town of Hanover, New Hampshire, home of Dartmouth College. The reception takes place at the Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme, New Hampshire, a 20-25 minute drive from the ceremony.
