I can confidently say Erin and I’s friendship is one of my biggest blessings in life. She and I met in preschool at just four years old, making it twenty years that we have been friends. The two of us have been alongside one another through all phases and milestones in life, including the awkward middle school years, high school and college graduations, post-grad moves, and everything in between. Because of this, I have had the honor to watch her grow and blossom into the incredibly smart, faith-filled, beautiful person she is today. Some of my favorite memories with Erin were made our freshman year of college as roommates at LSU. The two of us learned to navigate this crazy new experience together, hitching rides from friends everywhere, terrible dorm room conditions, and abruptly moving out because of a pandemic. That year was filled with wonderful memories, but more importantly it blessed me with a friendship that I realized would last forever. And now, I have the privilege of standing alongside Erin through her biggest milestone to date. It has been an honor witnessing Erin and David’s love story unfold and I cannot wait to see all that God has in store for them.
Logan Minter - Best Man
As David’s best man and little brother, I just wanted to let everyone know that I was David’s second choice as best man. His first pick will be in Rome becoming a Catholic priest. Initially, I suppose he didn’t want his best man to be both taller and better looking than him (I’m just kidding, Mike). Well unfortunately for David, I just so happen have both of those qualities. Regardless of that fact, I am honored to stand beside my brother on one of the most important days of his life. Growing up, you’d never know it by how I acted, but I always looked up to David in many ways. Throughout my life, his successes, and more importantly, his failures, have taught me a lot. His advice continues to lead me down the right path. I could not ask for a better brother or man to stand beside and support as he moves into the next stage of his life. Aside from my many important duties as best man, I am in the Nursing Program at Lamar University in Texas and plan to become an RN in the near future.
Maddie LeBlanc - Bridesmaid
Hey y’all, I’m Maddie! Erin and I met in college, originally in our sorority, ADPi! I realized we had one of the first chemE courses together and our friendship flourished after that. I don’t have a specific favorite memory with Erin, but I’ll always cherish the late night study sessions at PFT! I’ve always admired her kindness and grace she’s shown throughout the years. Her faith is unwavering and her passion for life and adventures inspires me! We can’t wait to celebrate the future Minters!!!!
Elliott Cochran - Groomsman
I’m Elliott, and I’m studying at LSU to become an engineer. Erin was my roommate for a while and I’ve met David. I would like to thank these two for having me here. I’ve never had a brother before, but I think we’re getting closer to each other because when I answer calls from Erin’s phone he often refers to me as “cutie” or “sweetie” so that must mean something… A memory I have of David is when he fought a bear with his own two hands to defend Erin’s honor and shortly after he saved a kitten from a burning building. If anyone is in question of David just come to me and I’ll vouch for him. Happy Wedding!
Mia Cook - Bridesmaid
Erin and I first met in middle school, and we quickly became great friends - the kind of friends that painted a Skittles and Kit Kat shirt with matching headbands to wear to school on Halloween in 7th grade. It’s safe to say we helped each other through the awkward middle school years. Despite not going to the same high school or college, we have always remained close through the years. I’m so grateful for our friendship, and I can’t wait to be a part of her special day!
Jean-Paul LeMaire - Groomsman
Hello, my name is Jean-Paul LeMaire. I met David at LSU's Residence Assistance training day. David told me long after that the first time he saw me he thought I was a dork, and I quickly told him that my first impression of him was that he wore his jeans too high. Funny enough once we got to know each other he found out that I am indeed a dork and I found out that he does have very different fashion sense, but we like each other anyway! David and I bonded over being some of the few sane males in a sea of post-modern college liberal personalities. David and I enjoy similar things and we become dangerous if we are allowed to feed off each other for too long. I am so happy for David and Erin and cannot wait to celebrate their big day!
Faith Bergeron - Bridesmaid
Hi, I’m Faith! I met Erin about 5 years ago at a Young Life camp called Clearwater Cove. Erin was there cleaning dishes, and I was there cleaning bathrooms! We spent so much meaningful time there together growing in our faith and surrounded in Christ-loving community. I now live in Colorado Springs where I teach 4th grade. It has been so much fun having such a great friend across the country who is always a short phone call away. I love our regular chats, updates, and sweet Colorado meetups where we can adventure together and I can slowly convince her to move here :). Erin was in my wedding last summer and was the best support I could have asked for, and now I am so excited for her and David’s future together! Erin is just the sweetest friend and it is such a joy to know her!

Like David, I heard Uncle Sam’s call and joined up into the military🫡. I completed ROTC at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs at commissioned in May of 2023 as a Transportation Officer with a Mtn Infantry Unit in the Colorado National Guard. On the civilian side I’m a Financial Analyst. After graduating college I married the love of my life, Faith. For our wedding, Erin was a bridesmaid and close friend of Faith’s. At our rehearsal dinner, I had the pleasure of meeting David and we connected on many similar experiences and clicked. With some people, it's extremely easy to get to know each other and they're a joy to talk with. David is one of those guys. David’s genuineness makes him someone you can trust and count on. We continued to stay in touch and connect after the wedding and our friendship grew and grew over time. Our shared morals, values, interests, and many similar life goals continue to solidify our friendship.

It seems like only yesterday Erin and I met at Louisiana State University! In this large SEC school, we made it a little smaller by choosing to be in a sorority. Since we rushed at different times, I had the opportunity to recruit Erin from within the Alpha Delta Pi chapter! Sharing a chemical engineer major and an interest in running, Erin’s PNM card immediately stood out to me! From this moment forward, our friendship took off! Who would’ve thought an Instagram invite to be study buddies would become so much more! I can confidently say I found more than just a study buddy or sorority sister in Erin. From our sophomore year to our fifth and final year at LSU together, I’ve gotten to see Erin blossom into the incredible friend she is to me today. With excitement, I look forward to seeing what the future holds for her and David! I wish them the absolute best and can’t wait to celebrate The Minters!!!

Many a day do I reminisce upon the time I first saw a cowboy hatted young man seated in the first row of CHE 1100. I’m not sure what I thought of him then, but I certainly know what I think of him now. David is a reasonable man with rock-solid morals, derived from his faithful convictions and logical worldview. There are few people in this world whose opinion I’d respect more than David’s… there are none who I’d trust more. I learned all of this about David (and much more) throughout the countless hours that we spent together trudging through LSU’s chemical engineering program. I’m thankful for David’s friendship, and I’m extremely excited to support David and Erin in this glorious union.
Olivia Hebert - Bridesmaid
I met Erin through Bible study at Christ the King! She joined my Bible study in the fall of this past year, and we quickly hit it off. Throughout the year, we got closer through living life together and even traveling to St. Louis for a conference and Brazil for a mission trip! Erin has become a very dear friend; we joke sometimes that it feels like we’ve been friends forever! We have a lot of common interests, and it’s been so fun to share them with each other. One of my favorite things about Erin is that I know I can always share the ordinariness of daily life with her. It’s been an honor to be her friend this year and to walk with her through engagement, and I can’t wait to see what God has in her future with David!

I have known David for 15 years. We met back In elementary school. Growing up we would either be riding bikes in the neighborhood or staying up till sunrise playing Xbox. Into high school David became my closest friend. Our shared interest had us either playing guitar at backyard bonfire swapping songs amongst friends or spending Covid chronically playing video games. Our friendship continued as he moved off to LSU where I’d later I met Erin and witness the love and commitment they have for each other. I am so proud of the man he has become and wish David and Erin eternal happiness in the life they are building.
