Our love story began like many modern-day romances... technology bought us together! aka he swiped right, messaged me; and I responded LOL.

We exchanged messages for a few days and he invited me on our first date. Earlier that day he told me that his birthday was coming up, so I brought him a candle (I couldn’t go empty handed) not knowing that it was "the gift that changed it all"; and since our date went so well, I invited him to brunch to celebrate his first birthday in the DMV area for our second date.

His Story:

After many years in the Army, I soon found myself lost and all alone in the DMV, starting a new job, and testing out this thing called life. During this time, I had all but given up on relationships and dating. But just before I gave up completely, I found who would soon become the love of my life, Francy Maria lol.

On our first date, days before my birthday, she told me that she bought me a candle as a gift which took me by surprise. Then a couple days later on my birthday, she introduced and treated me to the DC brunch vibe to celebrate. After that, I just couldn't see myself without her... What can I say? She bribed me and it worked... lol
