When planning your trip, keep in mind that the DMV region (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) are neighboring states that you can visit very easily.

Locals and commuters often choose to get around DC walking, on two wheels as there are plenty of options for renting bikes, scooters, or moped; and using DC’s public transit (Metrorail, Metrobus, and the DC Circulator). However, when visiting Virginia or Maryland we suggest to rent a car to be able to get to your destinations quicker.

The venue where we will be celebrating the wedding is approx 1hr and 30 mins from DC towards the Chesapeake Bay area in southern Maryland. Therefore, private transportation would be the best option.
