LOCAL VENDORS

It was important to us that we select small local businesses for this occasion because we value the creativity and personal touch that each artisan has to offer. Rooted in Virginia's rich artistic culture, all of our vendors have a passion for their community and assist in showcasing the unique charm that makes our home state so special. With each individual contributing their own distinct vision and talent, we are able to create a celebration that is personal and one-of-a-kind.

Sugar Cube Mobile Bar

The Sugar Cube Mobile Bar is a woman-owned traveling cocktail bar serving RVA & beyond! The mobile bar offers a chic vintage vibe featuring signature cocktails, lounge areas and customized décor. A big reason behind choosing this 1974 horse trailer turned charming little vintage bar was the tie-in with rescue horses at our farm venue (and our love for anything antique)!

Popitos Pizza

Popitos started in the backyard of Lauren and Ray's Forest Lakes home, where they shared their love for pizza with friends and family. Since then, they've taken their mobile pizza business on the road, becoming a part of the food truck scene at wineries & breweries around Charlottesville, along with pop-ups at orchards and farmers' markets.

Cowbell Kitchen

Cowbell Kitchen is a farm & local producer-driven bakery located in Northern Virginia, where Erin worked for two years back in 2018. It was Cowbell’s close relationship with the local farming community that drew her in, and the warmth & abundant silliness of their team that made Cowbell a family-favorite spot. Current co-owners and Erin's forever friends, Cher and Bre, volunteered to deliver the wedding cake and assortment of baked goods all the way from her hometown of Leesburg.

SnakeHouseRVA

Richmond-based photographer, Emily Patton, is the face behind SnakeHouseRVA. Erin first heard about SnakeHouse through a pop-up at Quirk Gallery and was immediately drawn to her artistic style & approach. Emily specializes in unconventional, film-inspired wedding photography and prioritizes creating an anxiety-free experience with an emphasis on uplifting LGBTQ+ couples.

Paisley & Jade

Paisley & Jade is a specialty rental company located in Richmond, Virginia offering curated vintage furniture and hand-built architectural items. Specializing in creating warm and inviting lounge designs, the Paisley & Jade team sources unique items ranging from rustic farm tables to timeless Victorian settees. Allowing us to select pieces reflecting our individual style, P&J provided us with the opportunity to add the personal touch to our celebration that we were looking for!

CROOKED CREEK MISFITS

Vocal Rest Records was founded by Trey Burnart Hall to promote songwriters who tell lyrical and image filled stories, and hopes to foster community through roots-based music. With Richmond’s music scene as an integral part of our story and Trey being one of Alex’s close friends from college, selecting a band represented by Vocal Rest for our wedding was an obvious choice.
