Mindo is a beautiful town right in between the highlands and the Amazon Rainforest. In Mindo, there are a variety of activities that you can participate in, including zip lining, rafting, and hikes with waterfalls and swimming. We will also visit the butterfly garden and take a class on how to make chocolate! This day trip will be on January 7th. A guide will be provided.

In Quito's downtown Historical center, you will be able to walk around and see the unique architecture including the many grand churches and plazas, and enjoy some of the local cuisine at the many restaurants and cafes! We will also visit the Quito market where you can purchase various clothes, art, jewelry, and other souvenirs! This day trip will take place on January 8th. A guide will be provided.

After exploring downtown Quito, you will have the option to go on an hour long party bus tour of the city! We dance and drink while riding around the city streets. This event will take place on January 8th at the end of the day trip to Quito's Historical center.

La Mitad del Mundo, or the Middle of the World, is a museum/tour of the history and ecology of Ecuador. You can stand in both hemispheres at the same time and understand the differences in gravitational pull on the equator. This trip will take place on the morning of January 9th and take approximately 3 hours.

The Papallacta Hot Springs are perfect for a day of relaxation! There are multiple baths with various temperatures, including cold plunges if you dare! This trip will take place on January 11th in the afternoon. We will spend approximately 2-3 hours here.
