Erin and Alex are both from Two Rivers, WI. Both had each other’s parents as a teacher, and went to the same church growing up. However, they never officially met until later in life.


Alex graduated and left Two Rivers High School the year Erin began. Alex toured Ireland through a college program and Erin toured the same cities a few years later with her family. Alex then attended UW-Milwaukee and transferred to UW-Green Bay, while Erin started at UW-Milwaukee later on and transferred to Bellin College in Green Bay. Eventually they both ended up in the same little De Pere neighborhood where Alex, unknowingly, would go for runs past Erin’s apartment while she studied to finish her nursing degree. After years of being in the same place at different times, Erin noticed Alex was single online and mustered up the courage to message her “middle school crush.” They agreed to a first date and finally were in the same place at the right time where they realized they were meant to be. The rest, they say, is history.
