Honesdale is the seat of Wayne County, where Esther spent a significant part of her childhood. The weather in the summer is beautiful, and the scenery is beautiful year-round. It's also located centrally to most of our friends and family in the northeast--five hours south of Boston, five hours north of D.C., three hours east of New Haven, two hours north of Philly, and two hours east of New York. You may have never heard of it, but we hope that when you come to the wedding you see why we love it so much.

Cocktail! Summer party! Colors! Patterns! Or not if you don't like colors and patterns! Come in whatever makes you feel pretty. Because the ceremony will be outside at a farm, we do recommend that you wear shoes that you are ok with getting a little dirty or (if you are planning to wear heels) wider heels that won't sink into the ground, or you can bring a change of shoes for the reception.

Sorry, but with very few exceptions, this is a 21+ event! Not sure you want to expose your children to our taste in music anyway...

Are you kidding? It's been three years. We expect you to be vaccinated and have your boosters.

We will be providing shuttles from several hotels to the ceremony site, then to the reception (about a 10 minute drive from the ceremony site), and then back to the hotels at the end of the night. You are also welcome to drive yourself between locations. There is parking at both the ceremony and reception sites. It is very unlikely that there will be any rideshare services or taxis available in the area, so please plan accordingly. Check the travel page of our site for details on hotels and shuttles!
