Congrats on the sex! I'm sure it was a magical night accompanied by some Marvin Gaye and a bottle of Chardonnay. We appreciate the procreation you've accomplished but we ask that you leave the kid(s) at home and enjoy a night out! If there are any concerns over childcare, let us know!
(Note: Kids ARE welcome at the Welcome Party, just not the wedding)
Does Keystone have childcare options?
Keystone Ranch did provide us a list of recommended childcare vendors. Please note, these are recommendations from the resort and have not been vetted by Allison and Evan. RESORT SITTERS (970.748.3012 & resortsitters.com/summit-babysitters.com), SITTER SCOUT (sitter-scout.com), and MOUNTAIN SITTERS (970.331.1763 & mountainsitters.com)
Will I need bear spray?
No. It's unlikely we will see any of our furry friends but keep an eye out for any other wildlife!
Is the Keystone bus system safe?
Yes! We rode on the bus system over the summer and it was very easy to use. The mobile app has the routes and schedules on it and its very easy to follow.
How should I dress?
Colorado casual as we like to call it. The weather can vary quite a bit and don't always let the temperatures fool you. If the sun is out, it will be quite warm especially at the altitude. If the sun is not out, it can get a little chilly. Layers are key in Colorado!
Will I get altitude sickness?
You may, but thankfully we will have a doctor on site if anything arises. Please reach out to Dr. Peter J Greene, also known as best man, with any additional questions.
FYI the key to preventing altitude sickness is hydration, hydration, and more hydration!
Do I need to rent a car?
Totally up to you! While rental cars make it easier to get around town, they are not required as Keystone offers free shuttles and buses around town. There is also a shuttle that can take you to and from the airport for a fee. Please see Travel for more details.
Please note that Ubers/Lyfts are not always available around town.
