Will there be a separate ceremony and reception?


No, both the ceremony and reception will be at the same address starting at 3:00 p.m.


Is there a dress code?


Kinda, but we’re pretty relaxed! we want people to be able to move. Anything resembling formal, semi-formal, or cocktail is fine!


Is there a color theme?


Yes, but if you don’t already own something in these colors, no worries! We’re hoping for a sunset color palate, so including colors like red, orange, pink, purple, navy blue, and black.


Will there be a bigger wedding?


Yes! We’ll be planning for another wedding in Medellin, Colombia in the summer of 2026. Everyone invited to the Ithaca wedding will also be invited to that one! We’re having two weddings so that we can have members of both of our families attend at least one.


Do I need to give a gift?


Absolutely not! In fact, we prefer that you don’t please! Traveling to be with us already means the world.


Will there be vegetarian/vegan food options?


Absolutely! Evelyn has been vegetarian/pescatarian for several years now, and Juan has also cut back on red meat for health reasons. We’ll have plenty of food options.


Will there be an open bar?


Kind of! We won’t be having a bartender, but will have a self-serve section with beer, wine, and pre-mixed cocktails.


Will it be fun?


If you’re coming—of course!
