Felicia and RJ met at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington in March 2016. Felicia first caught RJ’s eye during a statistics class they shared together and later had a mutual friend introduce them before their next class. Their first date was at On Rice which is their favorite Thai food restaurant in Bellingham (and continued to share the same love of Thai food from that day onward).

Shortly after graduating, Felicia and RJ moved in together to their first apartment in Capitol Hill which was a steppingstone to eventually buying a house in Wallingford in February 2022. Later that year, they got their first dog, Marlowe, who quickly became part of the family.

RJ proposed to Felicia on a family vacation in Maui right before Christmas in 2022. RJ (with the help of his family) secretly coordinated a photographer, setup on the beach with candles, flowers and blankets and romantic dinner to follow. Felicia’s favorite memory of this time (other than the proposal itself) was moments before leaving to the proposal site, it became clear something was up because RJ kept pacing back and forth (she had never seen him that nervous!).

They fell in love over their love of traveling, trying new things, work ethic and shared value of friendship. After 8 years together, we can’t wait to celebrate our love with you all at Saltwater Farms on October 5.
